Terms of Service
Last updated: May 22, 2026
Welcome to Tourbook. These Terms govern your use of the Tourbook service at tourbook.band(the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
What Tourbook is
Tourbook is a software-as-a-service platform that helps touring bands and their managers track shows, expenses, merchandise sales, personnel payouts, and overall tour finances. We provide the tools; you provide the data and run the tour.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@tourbook.band.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tourbook.
Subscription and billing
Tourbook is offered as a subscription. After a 10-day free trial, you can subscribe at one of our published rates (currently $10/month or $100/year). Payments are handled by Stripe.
- Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel.
- Cancellation: You can cancel anytime from the Billing page. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you've paid for; you won't be billed again.
- Refunds: We don't offer refunds for partial months/years. If something goes wrong on our end, email us and we'll make it right.
- Price changes: If we change pricing, we'll notify existing subscribers by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. You can cancel before the new price applies if you'd prefer.
- Comp codes: Codes that grant free access are honored for the duration stated and may be revoked if used in bad faith.
Your data, your control
You own the data you put into Tourbook. We don't claim ownership over your tour records, contacts, documents, or anything else you upload. We just provide the platform that holds and processes it.
You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data as needed to provide the Service to you and your invited collaborators.
Acceptable use
Don't use Tourbook to:
- Break the law or facilitate illegal activity.
- Send spam, harass, or impersonate others via the email-to-promoter feature.
- Attempt to access another user's data without authorization.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the Service.
- Upload anything you don't have the right to upload (other people's confidential documents, copyrighted material you don't own, etc.).
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We'll try to warn you first when possible.
Tour collaboration
When you invite collaborators (band members, TMs, etc.) to a tour, you're granting them access to that tour's data at the role you assign (owner, editor, or viewer). You're responsible for managing who has access and at what level.
Third-party services
Tourbook relies on Stripe (payments), Supabase (database + auth), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (email). Their terms apply to the parts they provide. We've picked providers we trust, but their policies are out of our control.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, third-party outages, and unforeseen issues can interrupt the Service. We don't owe credits for downtime unless explicitly committed in a separate agreement.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be error-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
Tourbook is a financial tracking tool, not a tax or legal advisor. Don't rely on it for tax filings or legal compliance — consult a professional.
Termination
You can delete your account anytime from your account settings. We can terminate or suspend your access for material violations of these Terms or extended non-payment. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the issue.
Sections that should reasonably survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Tourbook is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes go to the state and federal courts of that state.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we'll notify subscribers by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the change date means you accept the new Terms.
